No friends to talk to

Hey DJs’

Okay so I got my gear set up and I love doing what I do I mapped a few controls and I enjoy every last bit ( good for me )
But I came to realize i don’t have any goals

So I thought today why are Djing not so much fun as I started out.
I came to the conclusion that I have no partner that I can share the fun. I can’t say “Hey bru did you know if you take this track and put in this FX it sounds great” without getting a respond like this “:confused:”. I like competing against friends and family ( Mostly of my friends are gamers so i started gaming ) and since this is a very small city with 1 club and the DJ is using a mouse and a keyboard with the program Virtual DJ ( few chuckles, no offense against it since I started off with it as well).I am getting bored at it since I can’t share my progress to a remarkable friend telling well done you beat me or that can show me a better song so that I have a new goal to beat. Sorry, This isn’t a thread asking for friends just wondering what I can do to solve my problems

The closest solution I have is to go DJ over a VoIP program called Team Speak there is a channel for gamers but weirdest thing is for DJ’s as well and its local so I can go compete against the other DJ’s ( That doesn’t use Media Player, I know its sad ) but I am scared of making a fool out of me since its not my friends but a bunch of strangers and its my first year at DJ’ing

So as you can see. I am in a Tough cookie here

What about making friends with that one DJ and help him progress past the mouse.

He isn’t into DJ’ing I tried he sayed his just doing it for the $$$$ he gets like $11.632 a night ( 8.095 EURO ) so he dosn’t care. That isn’t even money. He is on my mxit ( social network like facebook ) but we don’t talk much since we don’t have anything in commin

Guys I can pin point you on Google maps then you will see where I live. I can’t move since I am living with my dad’s yes I am still in School belive it or not. Thanks for the link will be sure to join but it won’t be the same as talking to a real person.
