i order mines a few weeks ago i live in new york city they ship it to honolulu hi. it went way out there for whatever reason then it came back to califiornia the finally to me. i share your frustation but i put mines in after 2 nights of messing with it cause i order the innojuster also the fader works like a dream is worth the money. hope u get it soon good luck..
First thing is…I have the jumper on the X:Y thing.
The second dial (on the right) is set all the way to the right. Then bring is back just a tic..like half a millimeter. Its the one that looks like an L.
Then the first dial (on the left ) is where you have to work it. start with it on the sharpest cut (all the way to the right)
This is the cut in. So I set it as sharp as possible. I notice it did fuckall to the sound.
So while holding the fader closed (music playing as it was too sharp to cut), I adjusted is until the sound went away. Now I know that is the sharpest cut.
Tested is…and the crab and twiddle was too sick for words.
BUT!
I put it together again and I think due to the faceplate of the mixer, I was not able to close the fader fully. So I needed to adjust it some more…giving it more lag.
I went to far and there was a millimeter or 2 of lag…not too nice.
Went back and adjusted it back a bit…and its all good!
So to recap the above ramblings…
1st dial…sitting between 3 and 4 o’clock.
2nd dial…sitting between 4 and 5 o’clock.
I also notice that there is a difference when I engage the mixers XFader cut in button.
It makes the music louder…but somehow seems not as crisp and tight.
When I disengage it, the sound is softer…but much more tight. Can hear each crab etc.
