Novation Dicer slave unit issue

Sharing my recent discovery on a ‘work-around’ with the Dicer slave unit not working. Tried switching the connector cable with same results. Only the master unit that’s connected to the Macbook running Traktor works. When I switched the units- making the slave unit the master- it lit up and the unit that used to be the master (now slave) isn’t working. Tried a powered usb hub to no avail. Since the slave unit has a vacant usb slot, stuck an Android phone charger in it and the unit worked. Used a power bank as it’s neater and I can stick it under my mixer in bridge mode (battle style). Interesting. I’m always uninstalling and reinstalling the Dicer drivers…

I think this method is less fussier and the Dicers don’t conk-out on you mid-routine/set. :wink:

Sweet. And who hasn’t got a spare android/usb charger!
