Novation Launchpad Error message? or just toast?

So my launchpad stopped functioning last night… very upset.

At first i was getting an error that the launchpad was drawing too much power from USB, so it would disable it.

Then it started giving this weird pattern off, which i could find no information about scrubbing the web for hours. After it displays the error of drawing to much power.

I restarted, reinstalled drivers, tried other USB devices in those ports to make sure they work.

Anyone experience this before?

UPDATE!!!

Turns off right after disabling vegas mode. not recognized by computer. getting same problems. Im about to throw this thing out the window.

Did you ever find a way to salvage the Launchpad? I found a troubleshooting page for this on Novation’s website but it didn’t do any good.
