Numark DJ Flex Light?

Someone knows where do this light connects to? Its a numark product that you can find at:

I called the store and they told me that it connects to a special input in the mixer???
Somebody knows? It looks perferct for my mixer :slight_smile:

yeah not all mixers have that connector anymore. my old soundcraftsmen has it. it will say something like 12V light connector if ur mixer has one.

MMM I see… Mine defenetly don`t have one…

Thanks for the fast response though, you saved me a motorcycle ride to the store just to check what was the connector like

They could design a similar one that could connect to the mic input of a mixer… Don`t know what voltage is involved in that input though…

they also make a usb light like that if ur computer is close enough to the mixer or u could usee a usb extension cable to bring it closer.

I needed a quick solution, so I bought this cheap USB lamp that has a long extension cord in the meantime. It has 8 leds, not bad for less that 10 dollars :slight_smile:

This looks like a BNC connection.

Numark mixers have the connection for them on the Top of the mixer.

On this model

I see… I apreciate your help. I thought that this lamp could be perfect for carrying to gigs. I hate to not be able to see the mixer. But for the meantime I will use a common flash light, I bought a usb led lamp also

I agree, I hate not seeing the mixer as well.
Although like mentioned before if your laptop is close to the mixer and you have a free USB port then you can purchase a USB based light.

Another trick would be to steal a glow stick from concession (provided they are available) and just set it on the top of the mixer.

There are also those book lights that can be purchased and easily set about to help.
