numark dj io help :disappointed:

i’m running os x 10.5.6 and i have a Numark DJ IO interface. it has worked fine for a few months, but suddenly now when i select it my system essentailly freezes or crashes, making me do a hard restart.
i have tried both drivers for os x, the 1.3 and the newer 1.5 from the numark website.
i submitted inquiry to numark tech support, but these big companies always take ages to get back to you.

i’ll keep trying to reinstall drivers as that is all i can think of…
otherwise i may be re-reading all those soundcard posts Ean has made lately.

when i went back and read the sub-$200 soundcard round-up, a big con that Ean pointed out was the drivers… :disappointed:
i guess i’ll be making a new investment
