I recently purchased the numark mixdeck and it came with the Traktor LE program, which worked great! I had no problems and wasn’t eager to get the PRO edition till i noticed how few effects LE had. When i got PRO and started working with it, I noticed that the syncing was not as efficient as the LE edition. If i sync two songs without looping either tracks, it works just fine…but when I try to loop a song in order to mix them together it sounds horribly off beat! I tried adjusting the beat grid, and they all look good to me. The grid line is on the peak of the bass, Idk if its cause my mixdeck isn’t dropping cues properly, is there an option where cues can be automatically adjusted to the beat grid so your not dropping them too late or too early?
Basically my question is…why is my sync not working as good as it did in the LE version, why all of the sudden in PRO am i having such hard times mixing loops? Thanks for the help!
Not sure what the quant is, but yeah lol im syncing the songs. Im not really clear as to what the difference is between half filled and fully filled sync is. What does it mean when its only half filled?
I think your beatgrids are off. You can’t really do it by eye and Traktor rarely gets it perfect on it’s own. Drop a cue point and change it to a grid marker, then click on tick (upper middle section) and listen to the the tick with the beat. Cue has to be on for the deck you playing in to hear the click. If it matches up then your good.
can you please help me with a short review regarding this controller. i want to buy mixdeck and maybe you have the time to tell me your opinion regarding this product. i have 2 questions. do you had an controller before and if you had what do you think of mixdeck… if you haven’t got one.. maybe you can tell me a few opinions..
i own now Hercules dj mp3 second edition and I want to upgrade it.

I really love it, its my first controller and im very new to djing so I probably am not gonna be of much help. the ipod aspect of it is cool, but hasnt shown to be of much good yet. its pretty cheap for what it all comes with, and from what ive been told, a really good tool for beginners. traktor, if you dont already use it, is really simple to use!
okay, so now i got most of my music set to go…but a couple of my songs have multiple beats, i know theres a way to set multiple grids, but can’t figure out how to do it. thanks a million!
oh and i think my issue with the loops not dropping perfectly also had something to do with the fact that i wasn’t in “snap” mode. i dont think LE version had that option, so im guessing it was already turned on for you. it was good for me to learn how to make sure my beatgrids were set right anyways tho!
