Numark NS6 users who scratch?
Looks like Numark have come up with a quick mod to cut down on the lag time for the cross fader to make it easier - they’ve only made a 100 so move sharpish if you’re interested …

Oh and (as the article says) Gizmo has one that he’ll ship to people, and no-one has asked for it yet …
You can do this with the Credit Card mod too.
Did it for my VCI100 and DJM600. Worked well.
This is obviously less ghetto…but does the same thing in essence
I just bunged an Pro X Fader into my VCI …
why don’t they just release all of them that way instead of only the first 100.

Thats not the problem.
My VCI100 is dead at the mo…so no use putting a scratch fader in there.
I want it for the APC80. I was all for the Pro X fade…but have decided on the Innofader…purely cuz there is more support on it.
I am in Cape Town…you don;t get such things here…Scratch Faders.

So what i usually do is get my boss to bring it for me from the UK when he comes this way (every couple months).
So next time he comes…its the INNOFADER…for sure!
comes with all the adapters and connectors…so will be no sweat!

I have done some trickery to the Traktor Software…
Basically I have made the X Fader sensitive to velocity…so if i tap it with a bit of force…it jumps to half way.
So it works…I can crab…but not reliably…and constantly.
And…the stock fader is gonna be bust soon…with this type of use.
But it works!
