O.T. Massive Thanks To Pilmat (Phil)

I know this aint the right place but i wanna thank DJTT member Phil (pilmat) for going above and beyond the call of duty.

Knowing that im into Classic Mini Coopers he has sent me an Original Service Manual. These things are as rare as rocking horse shit and a fantastic thing for a Mini collector like me.

This thing goes way beyond a Haynes manual. Ive never seen exploded diagrams like these.

I absolutely love and it and cant say how grateful i am that he sent this from Canada to England.

Phil you are star and a true gent (i have to PayPal you something for this, ill pm you)

Yeah its in great condition but i love the few oily thumb prints in it cus its been used to maintain a Mini for real.

And yeah your spot on, its the kind of thing that you only expect from DJTTs members.

Im stoked.

LOL. The post is a little much Karlos.

When a friend at work gave the manual as a bit of a joke (I have one of the new BMW Minis) I had no idea what I would do with it. When I saw Karlos’ mint classic Mini, I just knew what to do with the manual.

It was in the spirit of this forum that I passed on something that wasn’t much use to me to someone who can benefit from it.

DJTT is a rare find, and contributing to it and its members is something I feel compelled to do.

On topic though, it’s nice to be part of a forum that has very few trolls, and treats people with respect, even in real life! rare find indeed.

Although I’m not one of the “power users” like you guys on the first page, I can honestly say that in a few short months phil and a lot of you guys have saved my ass in different ways. So yeah, thanks
