Octatrack Elektron - Hmmmm…
Hi,
I just stumbled across this. Is it me, or is the introduction video here
http://www.elektron.se/products/octatrack?section=sounds
(click on the bottom left video “Octatrack - A machine that makes music”)
sort of really whacked and practically useless?
“Oh, I am going to have to buy one of these things so my music turns people into zombies!”
What are marketing people thinking these days?

ITS OVER 9000!
Yeah i agree. A bit.. Different
Although… It looks SEXY!
Are they serious?! What a bunch of crap!
umm…I actually liked that trailer.
And the thing itself is pretty freaking cool if you look into it. If I had the money, I’d buy one in a heartbeat.
I enjoyed the trailer as well.
Will be looking forward to seeing the actual product tutorials on it, but the trailer itself was a fun little hook.
Hardware is so damned expensive >.<
^ heh elektron is so damned expensive. ive been on the fence about buying a machinedrum for years and every time i have the money it just turns into - “what does this thing do that i dont already get from maschine and ableton?”
