Amazing album from and amazing band.
Also pleasing is that Coldplay will be opening the Olympics. Now, i know what people on DJTT think of Coldplay (middle of the road indie blah blah) but, they are amazing live.
It will be a awesome start.
And with Elbow writing music for the BBC and Damon Albarn involved its great to see that UK Olympics are making use of the wealth of great music that UK produces as the unique selling point for the Olympics.
In these times of economic pressure theres no way anyone will ever match the opening of the Chinese Olympics, not even close but what the UK does better than most is produce amazing bands.

Yeah I get stick for liking Coldplay but they write good songs - hate Elbow though - bored me to tears at Leeds this year
Agree 100% Karlos. Even without the current austerity china would be hard to match. Saying that I thought the Chinese opening ceremony was WAY over the top!! Still no-one has topped having Tiesto dj through the entire opening to the Athens games!!
I used to really dislike Coldplay but ever since Viva la vida I’ve grown quite fond of them!!
