On Fly Looping with the Apc40 MK2!!
Hi Djtt, I want to ask you something about the the apc40mk2, which I already have.
Near the track selection bottons, there are some bar indicators. I thought they were for on fly looping, but I don’t know how to do that. Can someone help me?
If you know other smart ways on Ableton, please share!
I set up an Ableton DJ template ages back which has 4 play decks / 4 loop decks, basically you sample from decks 1-4 and loop from deck 5-8 and you can snap the xfade between them - whole heap of other bits and bobs added e.g. Monitor Mix, DJ effects, channel filter etc…
edit refined this one, with more logical loop / clip / stop etc … will update instructions when i get a chance.

Run down:
Scene launch = Quantize amount
play / stop / pause = loop start / in - out
Nudge = bend
Stop buttons (all channels) = stop deck
To get the most out of it you might need some extra (free) software.
