I bought the Neural Impulse Actuator of OCZ.

After 2 weeks of practicing I could at least control all brain fingers (alpha and beta waves) at once. The facial muscle thing worked better. BUT you need to be relaxed all the time or the controllers go crazy.
You can set a keyboard-command to a special amount of activity on one finger but even after the 2 weeks I could only have it show 100% or zero so itâs just a switch between on and off.
I even tried Traktor with it.
The CUE/PLAY was set on the focused deck to my facial muscles so when I clenched my teeth it started playing or stopped the selected deck. I selected the deck via thinking which worked sometimes better, sometimes worse but overall not accurate enough to use any of itâs functions for a life performance.
I dreamed about being the first Mind DJ, but 8 buttons, grounding problems (had to touch the cable all the time) and the accuracy make this even if you practice a lot IMPOSSIBLE!
Another issue is staying relaxed while people bother you and hormones shoot through all your body.

it would seem many studies of the mind and reality come to the same conclusion, just from different perspectives. the whole 2012 thing is interesting. ive talked to a few full believers here in nz. very interesting conversations
perhaps quantum physics is just the scientific, mathematical representation of exactly what every religion has ever talked about

I completely disagree with Moldover on merging with machines.
Human beings do not need to meld with machines to survive the impending cataclysm. We didnât need to be melded with machines for the ice age, and we wonât need to be for the next one. I am a firm believer that machines, and our reliance on them, are causing us to lose our sense of humanity, instead locking us into a never ending spiral of inhumanity.
For example, if we rely on machines when the cataclysm hits, to such a degree, what happens when they run out of fuel? What happens when they break? We no longer know how to hunt on a large scale, our societies are not based around the Earth, they are based around the thing sitting in front of us.
Iâm just as susceptible to the cataclysm as anyone. If I have melded with a machine I think I will be even more susceptible. Until we have completely self-aware and self-reparable machines that will be the case, and then we have a lot more problems.
Quantum physics and string theory are glorious things to finally giving something that could resemble a concrete answer to a lot of the universal questions weâve been plagued by. But, at the same time, I think there are answers we will never understand, no matter how deep we look.
Besides, I wanna see the bottom of the Ocean first, and see what creatures lurk down there.

But lord, I think we are kind of taking this out of context. If you change the phrases the discourse becomes a lot more logical. If you change âhuman-kindâ to DJ, âspeciesâ to âtechniqueâ and âglobal cataclysmâ to âtechnological upgradeâ
