Oot: what was the top 1 song in the charts when u where born?

In the US it was Mama Told Me Not To Come - Three Dog Night

I like the #1 song on the UK better though. Mungo Jerry - In The Summertime

Beat It - MJ

That’s right, i’m just that cool.

Apparently this was #1 in the US

haha

One and Only - Chesney Hawkes.
The day after I was born Cher hit number 1 with Shoop Shoop Song (It’s in His Kiss)

April 1984

Damn son, I know laughing while singing “Boris(Becker) ist geil”

That was number 1 the day I was born.
(21st Februari 1976  )

Cool idea for a thread.

I was really hoping it was at least a song I kinda liked. Whata shame :disappointed:

January 1990 was not a good time for music.

human league- dont you want me baby

bit of a guilty pleasure too

Was born May 26, 1977: the #1 song was “Sir Duke” by Stevie Wonder at the time…just missed out on “Hotel California,” (before) as well as “I’m Your Boogie Man” by KC & the Sunshine Band, “Got to Give it Up” by Marvin Gaye and “Dreams” by Fleetwood Mac (all after). Good Stuff.

However, it looks like the #1 song for the year was “You Light up My Life” by Debby Boone. Ugh.

Also, reading some of these replies makes me feel pretty old. Like, the Macarena, seriously?

I Can’t Get No Satisfaction, The Rolling Stones, or I’m Henry VIII, I Am, Herman’s Hermits. 8/5/65:eek:

War - Edwin Starr

LOL i take it we have the same b-day…but different year. I got stuck with Diana Ross - Endless Love

side note, I was born when Just Cant Get Enough by Depeche Mode was released…kinda weird cuz im a huge DM fan

actually it was released in 95, i was born in 91, but thats like the first song i remember

T Rex Get It On

Abba - Dancing Queen, nice
