How sad, yet another musician joins the club of 27.
Such great talent wasted. We haven’t had a singer with a voice like hers for some time. RIP

You’re right! Cobain was 27, Hendrix was 27, Joplin was 27… Who else? Those are the only ones I know of off the top of my head.
Sad… I don’t know if she’ll have the same legacy as those others. Frank is a great album and Back to Black is a phenomenal album. I don’t think she had enough success for “legendary” status though.

im just tired of my facebook page blowing up with Amy Winehouse, when 92 children were shot on a secluded island by some guy!!! its horrible! just because she is famous, we give her so much attention.. I mean she over dosed on drugs, its not like she was an angel or somethin. makes me mad.. Sorry if i sound like a dick, but there are worse things going on in the world people should be upset about.

The two things have nothing to do with each other; a tragedy is a tragedy, and whatever you think about how someone led their life, the day of their death is the wrong time to judge them.
