-Thunderstorm outside
-Amp is turned off
-Speakers play music quietly
-Music is weird 50s songs (mostly like the stuff you heard in games like Fallout or Bioshock)
-Music increased in volume over the last few minutes
-Some weird russian guy is talking over the music after a white noise buildup..
Am I being haunted? Anyone got a reasonable explanation to what is happening?
Trying to record it, but my mic does not seem to pick it up, as it is too quiet..
Though back when I was in the military some of the sigint guys i worked around were experimenting with “ghost” radio freqs. Using a classified wave transmitter they conjured up storms and had a host of other bizarre occurrences like a narwhal plummet from the sky. /tinfoil
Ok, guys I managed to record some audio, turned the volume up in logic and quickly bounced it.. That should at least prove that I don’t have Schizophrenia..
well, the speakers are passive, both have 160W, as mentioned the amp was powered off at the time it happened, due to a thunderstorm outside, the speakers are 3-way models, but sound only came from the mid range speaker..
On a more serious note: couldn’t it just be the speaker wires acting as antenna and picking up some random radio signal? Wouldn’t know how (and if) the thunderstorm figures in..
I get this problem with my computer speakers, i pick up radio stations even when the computer is turned off. Ok it doesnt happen when the speakers are off but its almost the same. The volume knob kind of reverses its self. When no music from me is playing, the radio stations are loud, and when the music is playing, theres no radio stations.
