Most of the city has been closed off dude, no reports of any deaths or anything yet tho.

Some DJTT crew down there, hope they can fill us in a bit more later, power cuts etc are a problem at the moment i’d imagine.
They’re saying on the news theres more than $2b damage estimated. 7 oclock curfews, looting and all that.

No relatives to speak of down there but some mates and crew there for sure. caught up with a few of them on facebook so apart from some aftershocks everything seems to be ok. Its gonna take weeks to clean up the city tho and the assessors are condemning shit loads of buildings, apartment complexes, malls and stuff. we get lots of quakes here in nz but aparently this was the worse one we’ve had since the 30’s. Just woke up so need coffee and check the news.
Yeah all us north islanders are sweet, I didn’t feel it up here but my little sister did in palmy. Pretty epic amount of distruction!
