(OT)Gig in Cosplay event.I need Japanese electro house.
I am having gig in cosplay event’s after party and Would would like to play as much as possible Japanese electro house, something similar to this :
But I kind of have problem as I know only few artist or songs and would like to learn more of those. And I would appreciate other artist and songs that would sound similar too.
Try finding some catchy anime theme songs and make your own edits of them. Extend the intro and throw in a bit of four-to-the-floor drum loops on top of it.
Also, I happen to know that cosplay-kids love happy hardcore and cheerful techno, at least herr in Sweden. Been there, done that.

Also have a look for Mustard Pimp, Dada Life…etc(i.e. The Electro House Genre tab on Beatport) You’ll find some lovely gems if you go through the all time top 100.

i had a job years ago where i ran a chain of anime stores. we had a booth at anime expo every year. god i dont miss those people.

you see a lot of pics of booth girls that are working the show. and yeah, theyre hot as hell. but theyre outnumbered by girls like this 100:1

I take my camera whit me and find out what kind of people is there. But you have to wait until may 14, cause gig is that time…

It was little odd as I was playing first around 7.30 pm before me there was amv show 1.5 hour long and quite many people did arrive early there, but did leave early too as many where underage (and party was no alcohol party)so I had quite nice party I did try first electro from anime soundtrack but as I noticed they didn’t reconice it I changed for tech dance as it is rather melodic, and After half hour I had all people dancing and raised their party feeling to peak before next DJ so he had easy to go after me. For last song I played this:
And it did blow out the roof, After me Dj did play good and people were dancing during his set but he did raice bpm quite high so it might scared some people off and after him there where mother and daughter playing, it was ok show but i felt it little boring and quite many people did leave during that time. And Then there was Main artists play and there was only few hand full people staying anymore and it did gradyally drop during his set.
So I felt I and Dj after me had best growd and party.
