OT: Happiest Tune

OT: Happiest Tune

Hi everybody!

off topic post but im sure u’s will be able to help me out

so im in a heavy metal band and in our latest song we have a really big slow breakdown (about 90 BPM… or sumthin) and i really wanna put the happiest tune i can find behind it with a bass guitar. cos we dont normally do breakdowns so we wanna put a spin on it. like the heaviest breakdown with a light, pop-y and cheery tune behind.

so share ur happiest tune

cheers

“If You’re Happy and You Know It, Clap Your Hands”

I’m H.A.P.P.Y, I’m H.A.P.P.Y, I’m H.A.P.P.Y…

Shiny HAPPY People.

Happy Talk

As in Rogers and Hammerstein South Pacific “Happy Talk” sung by Bloody Mary?

And yes, i am straight.

Or ‘Happy Talk’ sung by Captain Sensible.
Same song just done by an old Punk from a band called The Damned.

The Charlie Brown theme always gets me happy

Oh you absolutely must jam this one out:

W.E.E.K.E.N.D. by Arling & Cameron, around 2001-2 (PIAS records) the best song to start a friday night party, specially for the chicks. Really good mood.
In the same way the unforgettable “It’s friday (I’m love)” by The Cure

POP WILL MAKE US FREE!

I like the Happy Happy Joy Joy song from Ren & Stimpy show :

+1 you beat me to it

Ren and Stimpy!!!
or Walking on Sunshine for uber cheese. Probably too fast though.

“Wouldn’t It Be Nice” - Beach Boys

Incredible song.

Bobby McFerrin - Dont worry be happy

Would probably be great for a breakdown as well!

I am at work and cant check but the BPM should be close to 90 on that one.

Walking on sunshine really sounds like a good idea for a metal bend:smiley:

haha wow great response everyone thanks!
ill have a scour through ur ideas try em out and see how it goes
but i will be sure to post the finished product on here for you’s to hear
even though ur prob not metal heads. but oh wells
