2 weeks ago we had a BBQ at our house. And I had my reloop and midi fighter set up to provide the tunes. A few of my mates are die hard CDJ users and (as on many occasions) started giving it the usual “that thing looks like a toy” talk. After a few beers one in particular steps up to have a mix and to cut a long story short after 3 hours back to back he was well in to it and mashing the midi-fighter with a constant smile!! Skip forward 2 weeks and he’s sold his CDJ’s and pioneer mixer and taken delivery today of a brand new shiny S4!!!
They might look like toys but they fucking rock!!!

To be fair it wasnt really my intention to convert anyone. Each to their own really but i am kinda chuffed that someone so traditionalist has made the change!! At least gives me someone in the flesh i can talk tech to for the times im not on here!!
I’m glad my town is coming around, our biggest DJ’s Psycatron use an APC40 live, one of my favorite local DJ’s uses a Faderfox, its starting to become almost standard for a laptop to be part of a setup here, as well as a controller and or CDJ’s!
