OT: Just got a Kikker 5150 bobber motorcycle

I will get some better pics up after i am done modding her out! This bad boy is street legal, but I need to put a new brake light on it cause that is where the license plate is mounted… to see what they look like on the road just youtube Kikker Bobber… Most have drag style handlebars but this was already modded with ape hangers…

Does that bad boy have a suicide shifter on it?

Doesn’t look like it.

But it makes it nonetheless awesome enough.

Loved these kinda bikes ever since I saw that guy from Exile build one for the ‘Biker Build Off’.

So once again, I tip my hat to you Lance!

It sure does have a suicide-jockey shifter (behind the leg) It is pretty nuts driving this badboy, complete head turner. It sits so low to the ground. Its a bit of a rough ride, there are springs on the seat for a reason, thats about all the cushion you are gonna get. I may actually get a lower set of springs for the seat too, dropping it another 3 inches. The flat black paint is oh so minimal, I think the whole minimal-ness of the bobber style bike itself suits me quite well! I will try and get some better pics up tomorrow, maybe to show a before and after… since I ordered some stuff today!

saw them a when they first came out.. i wish they had a distributor here in Oz

looks like it runs on a battery! pretty dope bike

Its pretty big actually, and it runs on gas just like all bikes do… Its great to get around town on, Most bobbers are on the smaller sde because they are built from bikes out of the 40s-50s.

You definitely out did my recent purchase thread  haha sick bike, I love old style rigid frame bikes

I really dig the style but I’m definately too tall for it. How much did you pay for it?

how fast does that badboy go. I recently sold my BigDog and now with the weather warming up been thinking about jumping on an old beater shovelhead to get around town in. Gotta check one of these out.

Depending how big the engine is, you can get up to 70-75 mph.

70-75mph stock, but you can of course change out the sprockets and do other mods to get them going faster… I got it just to cruise the strip on, or to just relax on, Iam not much of a speed demon in my older days… lol

You can do some mods to fit better on them.. like put a simple bolt on seat extension, i have seen people up to 6’4" on them, but i dunno how tall you are…

hoping to get my Puch maxi up to 55… She only goes 40ish right now, but I havnt really started tearing in to it yet.

Its like the tiny retarded brother of that bike. With pedals, Centrifugal transmission (2speed) and no license reqs hahaha.

Puch maxi’s are awesome, used to have one back in the day.

It just kept going and going and going. When it stopped, I either had to fill her up, clean the sparkplug or kick the block and it would gladly continue or merry quest.
(Though with my Proma exhaust, fast cilinder head and modified carburettor I was able to pull 65 to 70 km/h.)
:stuck_out_tongue:

Crazy thing happened to me today. Saw one of those bikes while I was out getting a bite to eat. Thing looked SICK. Unfortunately… it was in the back of a truck, and not actually blasting around.

And yes Tekki, Maxis are awesome. I’ve only had mine for about 3 weeks, and I’m pretty excited about it. I’ll never hit 55 on flat ground hahaha.

gotta love a bobber. I’m about to head to check this out in about an hour… with cash for a down payment  It’s time for a trade up from the old vulcan 800.

nice, springer front end.. get ready for a heavy ride, swap those draggers for some ape bars too…

haha… Raleigh seems like a hotspot I guess.

uhhh

hahahahaha… I was definitely kidding. But that is two different bikes in 2 days for me.
