OT: Making the Leap

Wheee! Venting off here. I put my SSL, decks and mixer on sale today. Planning to go full Ableton and it looks like I have buyers for all my gear already.

Feeling nervous - the leap feels so huge, but I have limited time and it’s better just to stick to what I feel most comfortable with. I know I’ll miss the decks for a while, but what’s the point if I don’t use them, right?

My future setup is going to look wicked. I’ll finally post a pic on the gear pic thread when they arrive. I went for portability and the wow factor. :smiley:

can you make faders on the user2 mode - like it has on sends and volume?

i am also going to use if with traktor (but it could be used with any other midi software) using katapult

Cool! I somehow missed that Novation video completely. The Katapult looks pretty cool.

good luck with the transition to ableton! finding the perfect workflow is probably the hardest part!

i use the apc 40 and midi fighter in my setup.
