[OT] Minecraft Creations
Here’s one that I just finished. A replica of the Master Sword from The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, Wind Waker and Twilight Princess. OoT really shaped my childhood, so I felt compelled to make this.

Is this the whole purpose of minecraft?
The purpose is really survival. Using the resources around you to survive. This is something that people do after they are established in survival. For example, I have 3 gargantuan houses and a legit castle, so when I get bored I make things like this sword. I guess it could be compared to Tom Hanks’ character in Castaway making the volleyball “Wilson” into his friend with a personality. It keeps me entertained with a game much like it kept Tom Hanks’ character entertained so that he kept at least a part of his sanity.
