Apocalypse must be near then, I agree. I think the day Duke Nukem Forever is released is the day I see pigs flying around and riding motorcycles with burning tires.
It’s been announced for soooo long (actually, when was it first announced? 97?), and all word and no play made 3heads a sad panda.
Ah well, I have waited for so long, what’s another two years than. By that time I’m probably done with Diablo III.

EDIT: Ok, so they did. Man my head has been down the four-to-the-floor pot for too long.
story goes like this. when 3dr was going under randy from gearbox went to see what they had. randy used to work there so he knew a lot of people, loved what they had and even though they were about to go under, randy offered to pay for development to continue.
few guys worked on it in private for a few months, randy then took the work to gearbox and 2k. they bought the rights, moved the former devs still working on it into gearbox. the company as a whole went to work.
and the rest is history =p
