[OT] So I’m sitting in my philosophy class…

It’s Friday, everyone is ready to go out and party tonight - barely anyone really cares about what the professor is saying.. Now I normally don’t pay ready nor study, just listen and happen to maintain my 4.0 GPA - which leads to the beginning of this story. I’m dozing off till I see from the corner of my eye, this guy that is sitting to this remarkably beautiful girl, to top it off, she has a British accent, needless to say, she’s a 8 or 9. Anyways, I overhear this guy trying to impress this girl showing her his laptop, “Yeah, I’m a real life DJ, I have everything the pro’s use, and I’m actually on my way to the top!” and I kid y’all not, the next line was “All I need is a hot ass girl to be next to be for the ride.” At this point, I can hardly contain my giggles and chuckles, so I keep listening, and this kid is saying the most outrageous things.. like “I’m so good, I got my Serato download for free, and download all the other programs I need.” So as soon as class was over, I walked down to him as the beautiful girl and him were leaving, and was like “Hey 5 Dolla Holla (very casual-like, when you go up to someone and say retardsayswhat?), I couldn’t help but overhear what you were saying, you’re a DJ?! That’s so cool man, I’ve always wanted to be one. What do you use as your medium in the club, DVS, just plain CD’s or controllers?!” He’s response was “I use my mouse and keyboard, are you a retard or something, no one uses turntables anymore. WTF is DVS - isn’t that a shoe company, listen man, are you like a wannabe, cause I don’t help noobies out.” Needless to say, the very beautiful girl realized this kid was full of poo. :open_mouth:

Unfortunately I did not, lol.

I got her phone number though - with the slight whisper, “you seem to know your stuff, maybe you could teach me a thing or two.” I swear on my life. It’s been a good Friday so far.

Fairly epic, my mate all through school was like, im the best DJ going, DJd a few of the school club discos because he was one of the first to have VDJ (Cracked obviously). Always said to everyone that he was going to be the scotland no.1 and nobody else could touch him. Now myself and my other mate are doing decently at getting gigs, this guys unemplyed.

I would have asked him how hes dj’ing with serato with only a keyboard and mouse considering only the 1 deck preview player is active without an sl1,2,3, or 4 plugged into the usb port.
