(OT [sort of]) Mac users-Mackeeper?

3 months into my life with a Mac (MBP), and it has been a joy to use for djing, music collection, etc. However, as a lifelong pc user, i periodically get paranoid and think i should be doing something cleanup/security-wise.

does anyone out there use mackeeper or anything like this for tune-up purposes? or, should i just relax? many thanks.

I use “Cleanmymac” which works like a charm- using it for years on three different macs; never had any problems with it.
To date it cleaned 375GB off my macs- which is a lot to me :wink:
