I guess he wants to pursue his obsession with being in bands that play overblown 70s blues/rock.
UK sales have just gone threw the roof so ill be playing some White Stripes tonite at the Indie Club.
Indeed, a shame.

Dead Weather is Jack White’s new project, and it’s much better if you ask me. It’s sad, but it’s easily replaced (they haven’t done anything good recently anyways).

I agree. they had a good run, but I doubt that’s the last we’ll hear of their sound.

Can’t say I love listening to their music. But I totally respect where they’re coming from and their integrity.
Rock & Roll needs more bands like that that are willing to take it to the edge.
