You know, I’ve never compared this builds numbers to anyone elses.
Just wondering how this build turned out. Built this thing about 3 months ago I guess.
thats the highest base score ive ever seen 
but i thought a base score couldn’t get any higher than a 5 ?
ive seen higher on places like hardocp.
i believe all the scores get a nerf though when you install service pack 1. which ive yet to do, im waiting to make sure the patch i use to install custom visual themes works on these new versions of uxtheme in service pack 1
My scores are all over the place on my laptop =p
looking at the screenshot, I never noticed until now, but I guess the max score is 7.9
so I guess im not doing so bad for an i5 build =p
its not even overclocked either.
That’s HUGE - I’m just making six. Gonna nuke all the asus ‘extras’. Good prep for the new partition for my S4.

Sure it was higher when I built it about a year ago though…
Score is kind of irrelevant. It just takes whatever score your lowest part is, and yes 7.9 is the highest yu can get.
So, if you had 7.9 in everything, and using a old stable hard drive you’d grown attached too which was scoring 4.5, your overall score would be 4.5.
I get a 5.9 on my dell XPS 16 laptop.

Just 'cause of my weak graphics card, though, everything else is 5.8 or higher.
about 3-4 months ago i built this guy for around 1200 bucks. take that apple =D
