OT: Windows Mobile 7 music apps
Right, so i got a Win Mob 7 phone arriving tomorrow - HTC 7 Trophy. And as a result i now have 2 phones, and 2 contracts to pay for.
I’ve decided to d/l and install the Micorsoft Developer tools for Windows Phone and Xbox apps, and use this to fund my double contract. That or save the money and use it to pay off the new lesser contract in full at some point in the future.
Given that Phone 7 is pretty much being marketed as a Microsoft iPhone i figured that more people are going to be about buying apps on this than the 6.5 versions (shit apps on there anyway).
Want to do some kind of music thing first, was thinking something along the lines of taking pre made loops and mixing them to make a track (simple and effective), but making it so that there are 2 ‘decks’, so you make up a track on A and then one on B and can mix between them. Kind of an ableton thing going on.
Basically after some thoughts on the idea?
(then i’ll give 2 phones running the app to Rana June and she can be the first Windows Phone DJ to mix on 4 decks
