Other Options Since Soundcloud Sucks A$$

I just renewed my annual Soundcloud PRO account and 3 days later, they delete 3 of my mixes for copyright BS.

Is there a new option out there?

Any tricks to fool the system?

It’s a shame that greed can ruin art. DJ’s can’t promote music online?

I buy a ton of tracks that I discover off of other DJ’s mixes on Soundcloud.

Meanwhile producers are selling tracks on the top DJ music sites with unlicensed samples from huge classic hits.

Let’s bring back Napster !

you can now import your soundcloud mixes directly into mixcloud 0_0 i tried it out earlier… fun stuff

Holy shit. Importing 118 Mixes now (I have a Pro SC account too, no such issues)

how exactly can you do this? I need to catch up mixcloud to my soundcloud mixes, but I’ve been too lazy

go to your settings, under teh connections tab connect soundcloud and a link to add content should show up

i use Mixcloud for my mixes only, Soundcloud for my productions, hearthis.at is also a good alternative.

Mixcloud is the boss, but hearthis.at is also fantastic

I’ve wanted to switch for a while but I only really put out original productions and do guest mixes for other users lol. I don’t have many issues. I have had original productions pulled before but within minutes of disputing it they were restored. Sometimes just a simple 4x4 intro can trigger copyright which sucks. They are good if you dispute and it is your work though, I’ll give em that.

I use both… i double up, my mixes go on both

I did that for a while but I get tired of maintaining Mixcloud because I get zero traffic it’s just a waste. I could probably get a following there but I never stayed consistent.

same problem… no following, but i do it anyway.. bsns is bsns i make myself do it every friday
