Other types of EDM?
Okay so it seems most people here listen to generally house or dnb (or dubstep).
Does anyone ever listen to anything else?
I can admit without shame I occasionally enjoy some eurodance (though there’s not really any new good eurodance).

Anyone else? Also I realize a lot of people might talk shit about this. I really don’t care.
Um… I listen to Hard Trance, Industrial, Noise, Psy-Trance, 80’s, Hard Style, Gabber, Ambient, Breakbeat and other stuff too
There’s just a long DnB thread, that’s all.

Yeah my bad then I guess it just seems mostly all people talk about is dnb and house. Good point though, the dnb thread is quite a monster.

im keen for this new ‘glitch-hop’ to take off. its basically just half-time drum n bass, i dont think its really warrants its own genre yet but we’ll see
Anything with a beat, but mostly Trance, Hard Trance, Hardstyle, Happy Hardcore, Tech House, with the top 40 and classics whenever I find the time.

Man has a good point, you’re big three are House, Breaks & Techno, after that it’s just all sub genres of those.
Just about any kind of EDM can trace it’s roots back to those three.
…what?
rubs eyes
what? since when?
That’s an extremely narrow minded world view!
HardStyle, Hard House, Psytrance(the harder stuff) Hard EBM, Detroit Techno, Booty Bass.

heh fully. ill get cranky if dnb gets lumped together with breaks
Breaks --------
Drum & Bass ---- Breakbeat
Hiphop --------/
There I said it! Although all beautiful in their own way.
DnB also has tons of roots in Dub, Raggae, and Dancehall.
Saying DnB is just a derivative of one other genre is like saying ska is just big band music. It’s just a silly over generalization.
