has any one got a pic of the s4 next to the x1? is it the same size hight and depth wise ?

The X1 bag is HUGE. It’d take it much higher than the S4. Better cutting some foam to size and putting it underneath the X1.

cool dude just saved me £20 , i was gona order the the bag to come with it just so it took it to same level as s4 realy

The X1 bag will take it to heights equal of a regular clubmixer, something the S4 simply isn’t.

You could buy some black foam padding like in a flight case. Cut it to get the desired hight and shape for the X1 to sit on.

x1 is 1/2" lower than s4. 1/2" rubber pad or plywood I guess would do. I personally wouldn’t want to have anything with give underneath it. I could imagine it would suck having the controller move up and down everytime your pushing buttons.

i use a piece of the (hard) foam that came with the neoprene bag I bought for my lappy

Maybe use some of those sticky pads that come with the S4, underneath the X1 to raise it up?

I didn’t get any sticky pads with my S4. Are you maybe talking about the pads that come with the S4 case?

The X1 bag is a great solution for traveling with it and protecting. How about just using the smaller portion of the bag to raise it up a bit. I like the fact there’s a height difference when I have the X1 bag, it let’s me there a different set of controls on there versus on whats on the S4.

Check out “Cool Feet” made by Blue Lounge - the smaller set will be perfect. Already using an asymmetrical pair to put X1 @ slight angle.

I have this picture, I’ll upload it later. But to answer your question, you can configure the case to fit the X1 and have it sit like a quarter inch above the controller. Love it! :slight_smile:

yeh, the X1 case is in 2 parts and doesn’t have to be at full height.
