Pioneer 64-Bit Drivers...?

My pioneer djm900 works with OS X el capitan now… just an FYI

Still no sign of 64-Bit drivers for Pioneer DJM-850. :disappointed:

(I’ve even tried using ASIO4ALL - no luck whatsoever).

AHA! Is this why my DJM 750 won’t work with traktor since I installed Windows 10? The drivers all install fine and the utility shows up when you plug the USB in, but I only get the option for a single stereo line out in traktor’s audio manager. Is this what everyone else is getting?

(I did a full wipe and start again on the HDD btw so it was a fresh OS not an upgrade)

You need this, mate:

https://www.native-instruments.com/en/support/knowledge-base/show/4200/how-to-launch-traktor-in-32-bit-mode-on-windows/

Your 750 should work fine(?) then. But only at 32-Bit…

Kapow! Thanks mate I’ll give that a go when I get home (as well as upload that utility that I forgot to push last night)

Been able to work around it a bit by using my audio2 to plug in with but I want 4 channels and the cheeky timecode hack!

A little more detail from Pioneer:

I know it works - but I want 64-bit.

Thanks for all the help guys! Loads more use than Pioneer who, despite me including screenshots clearly showing what I had available, told me to use the ASIO driver which wasn’t in the list in 64 bit mode…

Started in 32 bit mode and everything works like a dream, cheers!

I’ve had an update, albeit pretty vague (but still reassuring) from Pioneer.

They tell me that 64-Bit drivers for most Pioneer equipment (they did confirm that my 850 will receive new drivers) will definitely be released - but would not provide a timescale for it.

Fair enough, I thought. At least now I know that I can continue (but, I don’t know when) using my 850 with Traktor at 64-Bit.

Still waiting…

The wonders of having a ridiculously strong market position and effective monopoly in clubs.

And a competing DJ software that doesn’t require external ASIO driver, more importantly.

Rekordbox is still a 32bit application, that’s why it works.

I’m still in contact with someone at Pioneer about this, Japan is from what I hear on holidays this week (Golden Week) and so I’ll hopefully hear back next week.

Anything, frankle?
