Not sure what difference it makes, but I’m in South Florida.
Well it makes a difference if someone in the UK or Oz has a set for sale, and your in the US???
There are CDJ 900s in the US Pioneer Refurbished store atm.
I know, but I don’t want to drop $1800 on a pair.
you US-americans are lucky.. in germany (or europe for that matter) you cannot find a pair of 900s for less than 2k$. used and like 2 years old 
You’ll have to settle for a different model then. 850 a player is a great deal and people are paying that on Ebay for used units, even without the Pioneer testing and cover.
I’ve seen them from $1400-$1600 on CL. I’ll eventually find a pair for that. In the meantime, might as well try my luck here.
My friend is selling 2x900s and 1x djm700 for £1450.

Those refurbs are about the bottom of the market without getting a smoking deal from a friend or something. They usually go for more than that used. I’ve been watching them for months. It’s a hard and expensive trigger to pull.
Called to order them yesterday. Sold out.
That happens a lot with how infrequently they update that page. The first time I ordered my djm-900 from them, they called me back an hour later and told me they had actually sold all three they had available to another guy. Can you imagine my disappointment?
There was a good 3 month stretch where I was calling every day to check if they had restocked refurbished DJM-T1. Never happened. Sucked. I cry every day now. Out of my penis. Basically, it’s just peeing. I had beers at lunch today. Sorry. Feeling good though.
