Pioneer DJM 750
Boom!
Wish they got a better DJ for the video. He was alright but I didn’t really get to see all the features.
Doesn’t look that impressive…
if it is/gets Traktor certified it would make a grate home setup mixer.
I’m wondering he is useing a pair of CDJ 850 and they don’t have link but in the video he presses fader start. How is that posible ?
could be the oldskool fader start with mini jack cables
umm have i missed something?
is this a new mixer there bringing out?
The DJM-850 is only £300 more… I’d go for that over this I think.
No individual filter knob per channel but I really like that FX engine.
Posted my thoughts about it here.
I’m mainly interested to know if it will be Scratch certified or not. At the price point, it could be the difference between “oh, nice!” and “meh” for me.
It seems like Pioneer keeps releasing mixers based on an FX gimmick or two, and charging a premium for it.
Not a big fan of the color fx on my 350. While probably not fair to compare, I’m pretty sure they have a lot in common. But hey, that’s just me. Not sure about this mixer. Nothing really new, and feels like there’s hardly a good reason to buy this one.
Main talked about a cluttered product lineup. 3 4-channel mixers with slightly different features and price points that are all close. Simplify your product lineup into 3 mixers. DJM 2000, 900 and then the 250 or T1.
Tend to agree.
yawn
Is there a chart that tells the difference between all these mixers? They all look the same with the exception of having a sound card and # of FX.
Not that impressed by this latest kit and would have to agree with above on cluttering the line up of pioneer mixers
It’s replacing the 700 so there’s no additional clutter.
850 adds per-channel color FX. 900 adds Ethernet Link, digital IO, X-Pad FX, additional color FX.
I don’t think they’d put a soundcard in there if it wasn’t going to be scratch certified - whats the rrp?
There are other pieces of software apart from Traktor, though. . .
It’s basically a stripped down 900 Nexus, but their are some new updates to it which is cool. If it does get certified (Pioneer has hinted), and what I heard is true about MSRP (about 1/2 the price of the 900 or $999), then this is kinda what a lot of people who having been complaining about price have asked for. We shall see though.
