Hey guys,

I was browsing through Pioneers DJ equipment and I was wondering how come I haven’t heard anything from anyone about the Pioneer Sep-C1. It looks like a pretty cool piece of technology!

It looks interesting but that’s about it. What role is it trying to do. For 800$ I think you can find better gear to do a much better job.

True, but that screen in the middle is pretty cool - I mean it’s completely mobile, no laptop or anything else is required, whereas if you toss in $100 more you can pick up an S4, but for that you need a laptop.

I feel those pitch faders are too small. I’d rather have two regular style CDJs than rack mounted ones.

I have one, very nice bit of kit, feels quality

As implied it has a superior screen to a lot of the media players and coupled with a portable HDD is very useful.

I know several guys that use it with Serato.
