Pioneer…why? (Headphones rant)

I’ve heard from many Pioneer reps that you shouldn’t remove the mini-xlr cable for the hdj-2000 unless you need to replace it for wear and tear reasons. Then why the hell is the new official hard case ($40) designed so that you have to take out the cable everytime?

Anyone have any other alternatives for a hardcase for the hdj-2000?

uuuh i do that fairly often with my pair and i think other do too…

i used to do that and my cable died within 2 months. still under warranty, took pioneer 2 months to send me a new one

i neved had a problem with my mini xlr… i plug it in and out after every gig… my current set have lasted 2 years now… had to change the Jack though… to a proper neutrik jack…
