pitch faders question…

My pitch faders are set to 8%, but only register 1 - 2% on screen and only move incrementally on the screen when I adjust them on the controller.

Tried increasing Rotary Sensitivity to 100% per a forum suggestion. No go.

Any ideas?

Are all 4 “Tempo” in the TSI at 100%?

Thanks for the quick response… Yes, all 4 tempos are 100% in rotary sensitivity, 0% in acceleration.

Clues? - 1. "Device’ setting always returns to Generic after I close and reopen the controller window. TSI settings remain when I pull up the Vestax default, but Generic is always what it goes back to.

  1. Traktor randomly returns to a default status when it wants to. IE - browser settings, preferences etc.. No rhyme or reason.

Time for a clean install?

Don’t worry about the generic, as long as your VCI is there and it’s ports are set to Vestax and NOT all-ports that is not your issue.

I don’t see how a clean install is going to solve anything, your running a Mac which tends not to suffer the same as Windows. I think it might just be you ports setting from above.

No, you imported properly, Traktor defaults to All-Ports… Just pick the Vestax off the drop down for both the in and out port and see if that sorts you out.

Don’t feel bad about being a little confused, I recently forgot to set the ports and posted a “major bug” post on the official TSI thread. Yes I was embarrassed when I found MY error…

Halfway home Phil… Deck A’s slider works perfectly, Deck B is still only @ 2% (out of 8).

Double checked the tempo settings, all good. Both in and out ports are vestax.
