Pitch Sweeps?

Im trying to find some info on “ptich sweeping” I have only been able to find videos of recreaing it in logic ut im not sure how to use it or how that sound can help. thanks everyone!

that tutorial was awesome but not exactly what im looking for. to be more specific, I heard of a doing a “pitch sweep” on two cdjs as a transition from one bpm to another. The dj i referred to said he specifically used this technique from going from house to moombah.
i have created a few pitch sweeps and transitions with massive. if your a are looking for some samples i will put a couple up
if you can find an example on youtube and link it I might be able to help but without it I don’t know what you’re talking about.
