Play button not working!

Sup everyone?

So the play button from one of my numark ndx800 cd player isn’t working properly, sometimes it works, then the next time I need to press it hard, the next it won’t work. It’s fucking annoying and obviously a big deal.

Is it fixable? Can I fix it myself? Has anyone else had this problem before?

sounds like a broken spring maybe.

Or, as guiltyblade said, a broken spring, or a broken connection between the pushbutton and the pcb. It’s fixable, but you might wanna have some teardown/reassembly and soldering knowledge beforehand
