Please Help Cross Fader Problem

Hi, I am having some cross fader issues. Its not slowly fadeing at all it just gets near the end of the xfader and BAM cuts out, sorta like a fader start.
How can I change this or what settings do i need to change to make it proper cross fader that fades rather then just switching without a transition.

in prefs under the mixer section you can change the xfader from smooth to sharp. never messed with that myself - only on a controller itself.

if its your controller config then you’ll see the actual onscreen xfader behave how it sounds though and you dont mention any controller.
