Please help with my CDJ 700’s

HI

I need help. I’m using VDJ Pro with two CDJ 700’s. When I have both sources set to MIDI they play fine as a MIDI controller but as soon as I change the source to CD on one it stops everything and loads the cd. Is this a mapping problem? I stuck.

why would you do that when you use them as a midid controller?
