Please help..would like to assign filter knobs on Kontrol F1

Whats up everyone. I’ve been trying to figure out how assign the filter knobs on the F1 to also change pitch of samples as a second control with shift, if possible.

Any help will be much appreciated.

Modifier / type=button / mode=hold / value=1
Assign condition M=0 to your filter command
Assign condition M=1 to your pitch (key) command

Thanks Stewe…I know this has to be extremely simple assign..but it just wont come out for me.

Yep it’s a basic modifier setup. Can you attach your TSI in reply so I can take a look? Also let me know which modifier and value you’re using for the shift button.

Im (obviously) not a technical familiar person.. But this is what I understood from your guidance:
I have the F1 on Stock mode currently-here is picture:

It looks fine from looking in the image. Do you use fader/direct for your filter and key commands?

Also does modifier properly toggle values when you hold and release the shift?

Yes I use fader/direct for the filter and key commands.

Only the when pressing shift the value goes from 0 to 1

Upload TSI maybe you’re missing something I can’t see here.

Mapping is correct so it must be some of F1 settings. Does this play nice in MIDI mode?

Yeah. I am trying to attach another tsi file, but its too large.
I have made the assignment in “bone stock” settings in traktor, and it worked.

update: ok, so it will work on track deck but not on remix deck

Not much options left mate. Except to make sure if your sample slot assign has correct target.

Though, I’m not familiar with F1 hardware and it’s properties, just saying all this from mapping perspective.

Maybe some F1 user can fill in with some more input.

Cool. Thanks again Stewe.

Anytimes! Hope you’ll solve this soon.

unfortunately the remix decks don’t have a global ‘key’ knob like the track decks do, so pitch changes on entire remix sets is not possible :disappointed:

Yeah, I figured that after looking at all the remix deck assign options like 20 times..lol :expressionless: I didn’t want accept the fact, I guess
Greatly appreciate your input trux.
