Okay dis is a question to all the ableton users on diz message board.
What plugins ( VST/AU/whtva ) do you think are essential for DJing with ableton? ^ ^
My list is…
Scratch my Waveform 2.3
Waveform Doubler
Super Looper
Fizzy EQ
and Reino’s Dynamic EQ builder
im not talking about the built in ones that come with ableton! :b i mean third party plugins ^ ^
You can learn all bout da ableton ones by jus messing round wit them or looking at various specific tutorials on them, since theyre so diverse and complicated
The main types of plugins there are tho are:
Instruments: like virtual instruments, samplers, drum machines, synthesizers, etc
Effects: Eq, mastering, compression, filters, etc
and Midi plugins
but theres like soooooo many of them its oober hard to know what da best ones are! XP
iight ^ ^
Scratch my Waveform 2.3 like puts a waveform in front of you so you can do a lil scratching, or beat jumping, nudging, looping, etc pretty easily <333
Waveform Doubler lets you look at multiple waveforms in ableton tho only able to control one! :{
Super Looper lets you loop on da fly in ableton ^ ^
Fizzy EQ is the best EQ for djing ive come accross as a plugin
and Reino’s Dynamic EQ builder is for doing more smash mixes when you need to do complicated eq changes back n forth fast, which makes for really trippy shiz XD
id liek to know more of what some of the more common ones are that ppl love and use alot, i hear native instruments plugins alot, camel audio alot, etc
What kind do u use? XD
