I’m using the X1 to control the sample decks. It frees up the cue points for me to have them run at the same time instead of toggling from sample decks to cuepoints.
Curious: Do you think it’s worth it have a dedicated controller (X1) when the default functions are already available on your S2 for the most part? Or do you have custom mappings for it for features not on the S2?
Its a matter of choice, I can trigger samples and hotcues without having to toggle between them. Also have the option of using 8 hotcues instead of 4.
