Pop Beat With Sampled Hook
Pop beat I’ve been working on for a bit; sampled a terrible 90’s hip hop song that had horrendous verses but a dope chorus, so I jacked it:
I’ve gone back and worked on the mix three or four times and I think I finally came up with someone passable…what do you think?

Sounds good. My suggestion is that you use a lighter kick. Other than that, good job.
thanks man, yeah, still trying to get a good low-end read from my speakers (kinda lacking in the low end themselves so it’s hard to get a good read on how the lows will transfer over to other systems), thanks for the feed though! still working on my mix techniques
Sounding good, but I think the snare/clap needs a bit more punch and the percussion needs to be a bit louder.
yeah, had some problems mixing this one, gotta go back and fix up some of the mixing issues for sure
