possible? rane fader in akai apc40
so im wondering if it would be possible to exchange the plugs from the 2 ribbon connectors on these 2 devices and put the rane fader into the akai apc40.
they both have ribbon cables with 6 wires, which plug onto sets of 6 pins, the rane however is 3 on top of 3 while the akai/numark style is 6 pins in a line.

could i take this connector from this ribbon on the rane
and cut the one off of this one and solder the rane connector onto the akai
and would this work? or am i completely off base on this whole thing…
