I am loving this deep house/Disco vibe nowadays.

Here are two mixes that really stuck with me this year.What are your favourite mixes?

I second that. Such great flow and progression through the whole mix. Really makes me want to DJ with Ableton.

I’m picking the Knife Party Mixmag mix. Tough between the Porter Robinson triple j mix, Flosstradamus’s Banned 1 (Prefer it to Banned 2) and Madeon’s triple j mix. But since that was already posted…

i enjoyed the knife party mix! and got to see them live!

but i also enjoyed the Dj Antonin dj sounds mix, his use of acapellas is very tasteful!

Dubfire at blue parrot is insane he’s easily one of the best techno dj’s

I would absolutely love to see an interview with Madoen to see how he plans out his sets. It has to take a ton of time.

That Knife Part “Clever Title Like Deadmau5 Would Use” Mix (the mixmag one) is absolutely amazing. The Space Laces remix of Datsik is an absolute beast of a tune, takes me back to hearing Noisia - Stigma for the first time.

Most of the best mixes I’ve heard were in person not recorded that I’m aware of.

Xhin has had some really awesome mixes I’ve listened to way too much. really interesting techno and he mixes a lot of left field stuff like IDM and just about anything else in. Would love to see him live.

Some great CLR podcasts recently- DJ Emerson’s (191), and Material Object (195), Xhin (198), Drumcell (192) which I’ve been listening to recently- though most are really good (can’t direct link them).

luciano’s ultra set. the groove is just non-stop. so so good. you have to listen to about 30 mins of it to get into it. if you like chill deep funky grooves it’s so worth it. on the video he’s mixing with all four faders up. i wonder if there’s backing rhythm tracks or it’s just 4 songs at once.
