Has anyone else noticed the two different shades of Blue on DJTTs pics?
It’s like one set is a Fluorescent Baby Blue, and the other a Royal Blue.
I for one would LOVE some of those Royal Blue lookin’ ones,
like those that are on the Rane Sixty-Eight.
It does look like 2 different shades in the pics, but I think that’s just the lighting.
That’s what I assumed, but I am not absolutely sure.
Perhaps someone with official knowledge regarding
the subject can come in and clarify?
if you look at the pic I posted on the last page, I have blue caps on my z2 so you can see the color.
Thanks, I already looked at yours…are they fairly new?
Also, I haven’t paid attention to how long that pic of the
Sixty-Eight has been up on the site…is it fairly new, or
an old pic?
Answers to hose questions could put to rest my suspicions.
mine just arrived today
okay, that settles it…still it’s a shame, the way the blue’s
look in that lighting makes 'em appear darker, which I prefer
to the candy color of how they really are.
thanks for clearing that up.
DDJ-SX beginning customization
Got some more caps on the way to replace the trim knobs and channels 3 & 4 with Blue supers and blue faders. Probably will stop at that…maybe glow in dark eq’s…
Hey man - the GID caps are a nice idea, but they do not glow to my satisfaction. In my opinion, they are harder to see than the grey ones, but easier to see than the black ones that come on the Z2 and F1.
I like the grey ones a lot - I have a bunch of them.
@Karlos Santos does the chroma caps fit the Dj Tech mixer? planning to get a set for my mine when it arrives. thanks
I don’t reccomend them for scratching - crabbing is especially tough.
^^ i was supposed to get the knobs than the faders cause it comes with additional mini innofader caps.
I haven’t tried them but I will today and report back.
Completely agree. The coloured chroma fader caps are (IMHO) useless for scratching which is why I use the Glow in the Dark Chroma caps on the cross fader on the S4/S2. They are hard plastic.
Actually the new NI fader caps are better and I have swapped them back (just on the xfader). It’s just a bugger if the booth is dark which is why I have a white sticker marking out the centre of the fader on the S4mk1. Not got round to doing on the new ones.
I mainly added mine so that I could keep track of what colors were what deck, so that mid mix I don’t grab the wrong channel. Love em!
Are there any plans to do the 90 degree Pio knobs in any other colours???
My 850 is CRYING OUT for a set of chromas! ![]()
Was about to ask the same thing. Fatty knobs might be nice too.
