Powered Speaker Installation In A Bar

Powered Speaker Installation In A Bar

I am installing a new speakers in a bar and using the current DriveRack PA+ that is currently installed there. The bar is divided into 2 room with the following speakers being used:

Front Room: 2 QSC K-12 (powered)

Back room: 2 QSC KW-152 (powered)
2 EV Eliminator Subs (passive) with a QSC amp.

I also have a BBE 882 (balanced) Sonic Maximizer in the rack.

I know I have to update the DriveRack; I want all of the QSC Speakers to be running in full range, and the subs for the low end. I do not want to separate them into highs and lows with the subs. What is the best way to set up this sound system?

how big is the stage… what type of mixer. check out some yorkville powered mixers.

There is no stage… Speaker are mounted to the walls. There is a DJM 750 Mixer. I should have been more specific.. I am looking at the way to make the connections with the drive rack. There are 3 sets of outputs on there; low, mid, and high. I want the QSC’s to run at full range and subs for the low end only.

can’t you use the SUB outs on the mixer. look into a rackmount mackie… they usually have 3 sets of sub outs. they should run full range… or you can just get a central station
